Shia looks the way he looks because he doesn’t feel the need to impress anyone. He is just living his life and enjoying it the way he chooses to. FYI: Shia is filming Transformers 3 in about a month or two. He has to be physically ready for that movie because Bay is an insane idiot who likes to make his actors do physically crazy things. If Shia is not ready for this he will not make it through filming. This is why he is bulking up. The reason his legs do not bulk up is because he struggles to gain weight in his legs (as he said in interviews).
Oh, one more thing. I find it interesting that people can look at some pics and determine both a person’s state of mind and relationship status. lol…the criticism is kinda funny because its a result of people fixating and misconstruing ONE little thing he said. if you read his interview, he never said to buy interoil, he just said that oil will rally the rest of the year–which it actually has been. he also mentioned gold and apple, but the reason no one is talking about those “tips” is because they are pretty solid. besides, his brand of trading is built on short selling anyway. and short selling does not require investing in legitimate corporations all the time. it only requires getting your money in and out before everything goes to pot.

my guess is that this role is not only to branch out but I mainly think that he wants to do these kind of roles to “impress his dad. I recall once on an intervew that Shia said that his dad said that films like Transformers are “sissy” type roles and that Shia needs to man up and play more “war” type of roles, something like that……….

action flicks do not require as much acting skill as they do physical. failing to show RANGE as an actor is a death sentence for one’s career. its not that hes not appreciative of blockbuster success, hes getting bored with playing those same types of roles over & over again. all he was basically saying is he would like to do roles that have more substance to them rather than style. kinda like AGTRYS & The Greatet Game Ever Played, which really showcased his acting ability & broke him away from Disney

Shia looks the way he looks because he doesn’t feel the need to impress anyone. He is just living his life and enjoying it the way he chooses to. As for saying he has never looked this bad then apparently some of you need to do your research because Shia definitely looked this bad last year. The pics of him sitting on a milk carton back in ’09? Yeah boy looked ROUGH. He only looks “pretty and clean” when he is either filming or promoting. He separates himself from the glamour of Hollywood when he can. As for those who are trying to blame Carey for Shia’s appearance that is complete bs imo. Shia always looks rough in his off time and maybe he does not feel the need to clean up because Carey loves him no matter what he looks like. I think some of you need to get over the fact that Shia and Carey are together. If they break up he will find another girl. That is life. FYI: Shia is filming Transformers 3 in about a month or two. He has to be physically ready for that movie because Bay is an insane idiot who likes to make his actors do physically crazy things. If Shia is not ready for this he will not make it through filming. This is why he is bulking up. The reason his legs do not bulk up is because he struggles to gain weight in his legs (as he said in interviews).
Oh, one more thing. I find it interesting that people can look at some pics and determine both a person’s state of mind and relationship status. I am guessing that these same people always look super happy. They are also always with their significant other (if they even have one). Is this true wanna-be Freuds and Dr. Ruths? lol…the criticism is kinda funny because its a result of people fixating and misconstruing ONE little thing he said. if you read his interview, he never said to buy interoil, he just said that oil will rally the rest of the year–which it actually has been. he also mentioned gold and apple, but the reason no one is talking about those “tips” is because they are pretty solid. besides, his brand of trading is built on short selling anyway. and short selling does not require investing in legitimate corporations all the time. it only requires getting your money in and out before everything goes to pot.

I don’t get it either, why is there no new news on Shia? No pics nothing? I also agree that seeing news on Carey does not = news on Shia. I miss the good old days when we used ot get pics of Shia alone without any tags on the pics that say “shia and carey are so in love” who bloody cares. my guess is that this role is not only to branch out but I mainly think that he wants to do these kind of roles to “impress his dad. I recall once on an intervew that Shia said that his dad said that films like Transformers are “sissy” type roles and that Shia needs to man up and play more “war” type of roles, something like that……….
I think it sux that Shia father was not supportive over what ever type of roles he plays. Shia’s father should not “bitch” about what he does. Those roles is what had his father “retire” early. Some people are just so hard to please

action flicks do not require as much acting skill as they do physical. failing to show RANGE as an actor is a death sentence for one’s career. its not that hes not appreciative of blockbuster success, hes getting bored with playing those same types of roles over & over again. all he was basically saying is he would like to do roles that have more substance to them rather than style. kinda like AGTRYS & The Greatet Game Ever Played, which really showcased his acting ability & broke him away from Disney

yup! thats exactly right joey! theres your answer, paused(#129). but im not sure of the ws2 plot as well. ive heard a rumor that the movie is more of a character study surrounding mulligan’s character (winnie, gordon gekko’s daughter) which i dont care, nor want to see after being a big fan of the original. but its all still HEARSAY/RUMOR & we’ll have to wait & see. what really sucks is the promo! alot of media outlets are running their stories as scheduled even tho the movie’s been pushed back. mike douglas is creeping in along with shia & carey for wall street & they still have 5 months until the pemiere! its a bit overwhelming for shit that aint goin down for months ahead…its messy. they may get a slot @ Cannes, but thats still a month away & theres not much else they can say that we havent already heard to promote the film @ this point. didnt mean to rant, but damn…it is what it is

Shia has probably just matured a little and realized that she should stop being phony and trying to fit an image he had of himself and is now just being who he is… whatever.
Carey Mulligan seem slike a cool person, I hate to say it, and one thing we know is he is still the same as you guys say you miss him being because he obviously chose her on personality and not looks.
