the burning volcano stops erupting and the lava gets cold?! i think i unserstand what hes trying to say, but thats a weird way to use that anaolgy. most couples strive to keep that flame burning or seek counseling to rekindle it. is there really a difference between being in love & a loving relationship? if u werent in love with that person, why would u be in a relationship in the first place? when that love dies down (does he mean that infatuation?) maybe the term love is used too loosely these days. settling down is cool, some ppl like the feeling of just having someone there, but when that love (or infatuation) dies down, the outcome is usually pretty grim. LYNN, SAMANTHA (& others on this level of thought) plz respond! set shia aside if u can. the topic of the excerpt alone is a good debate! lol
