@yo – You have got to understand that Shia is used to using his money to buy love, that is what he did when he became and actor, I think, to buy his parents (especially his dad’s) love. He is very afraid of being alone as in single so he does not want Carey’s parents to talk her out of dating Shia, so he will do anything to have their approval. That is a really sad way to live, to have to buy your way of getting out of being lonely/single. Shia needs to learn how to be single and independent and stop clinging on to Carey for his source of happiness.
