Things took a turn for the dramatic, unfortunately, when Shia almost got arrested for swiping a photographer’s camera. The run-in comes as Shia is prepping to start work on Transformers 3 next month in Chicago. His former costar Megan Fox is officially off the project, and Shia will instead share the spotlight with Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Hopefully Shia is getting in some quality time with girlfriend Carey Mulligan before production commences, and Rosie is currently celebrating her new role with her own significant other, Jason Statham.

it really breaks my heart to hear him like this, cause you know he is right he should not have to feel like a “caged animal” in his own home cause these sacks of ass’s are parked right there across his street. this entire issue is naseauating. i was at work and they had this on the inside edition and i was like this sad. i love seeing new pics of shia and yes i do admit he really is so hot that it makes me horny but really i would much rather see him happy than harassed like this, poor shia.
i just think its sad that some people are losing sight of the fact that this was outside his HOME. it’s one thing if they catch you at the grocery store, or the airport or something. but this guy was sitting outside his house, WATCHING and waiting to follow him out or get a good shot. at first i thought shia may have overreacted a bit, but the more i think about what it would be like if some douche was sitting outside my house all day, the more i understand why this was so upsetting. especially given the fact that he seems to be much more protective of his privacy now that he has a girlfriend, which i can understand. regardless of how anyone here feels about carey, you have to admit that the two are trying to remain low profile, and having paparazzi camped outside your house probably doesn’t help with that.
