The star of the “Transformers” movies came bearing gifts for Nano and Stephen Mulligan when they first met and this impressed Carey’s parents a lot.
They really liked his chivalry and like that he is dating their daughter.
LaBeouf was first romantically linked with Carey last September when they filmed “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” together.
A friend of LaBeouf told the National Enquirer: “Her parents were worried that Shia was just another Hollywood player who would hurt Carey. Shia did his best to prove he’s the real deal.”
The actor apparently gave Mulligan’s mother a Hermes scarf and her father an iPad.
“They thought it was sweet,” the source added. “He enjoyed spoiling them a bit.”

Yeah, I think that Shia and Rosie would make a cute couple. I would not be suprised at all that when Shia is finally away from Carey (as in filming in different cities) that he will slowly fall head over heals for Rosie. One, Rosie is much better on the eyes, where as Carey is plain and really ugly. Two, Shia has always fallen in love with his co-stars, why would that change now?.
What sucks is that Rosie has a boyfriend cause if she didn’t I can really see Shia dumping Carey for Rosie.
Carey has nothing compared to Rosie.
Rosie is tall, thin, has full lips, beautiful hair, pretty smile (where as Carey’s smile is akward looking), slinder nose and mostly much prettier eyes and she does not wear so much eye make up like Carey.
Bottom like I really do think that Shia is going to realize that Rosie is so his type, not ugly Carey.

Before you guys start believing this recent round of gossip, may I make one request? Please consider that up until a year ago, Shia was prety much a gossip site’s dream. A successful actor with a penchant for being arrested, getting into dangerous car accidents. And let’s not forget the “He’s dating Rihanna! He’s dating Lauren Hastings! No wait, now he’s dating Megan Fox!” chatter. He provided a regular cycle of rumors. Even when he first start dating Carey, there were stories of him picking a fight at her premiere and once again the gossip sites went crazy from joy that Shia was once again going to do something douchey and salacious.
Now fast forward to almost a year later—and nothing. All quiet on the front. These people waited through awards season for this couple to show a crack, so they could say how insecure Shia was over Carey’s success. They waited through Cannes, where Shia and Carey would possibly walk the red carpet together (possibly allowing for them to be crowned a Hollywood power couple), but the two kept their distance and provided no personal details. All of this recent gossip is just a result of the media becoming irritated with the fact that two relatively high profile actors have managed to maintain such a low profile relationship. Instead of MORE drama and candid paparazzi pics resulting from TWO actors together, this relationship has led to LESS pics and more privacy. And that’s so unusual that it’s starting to piss off the gossipmongers who have waited so patiently for almost a year for this thing to blow. So now they’re just starting to spread fabricated lies because they desperately want a scandal, especially given the fact that Shia was once such a hotbed for royal fuck-ups and gossip.
I’m not saying Shia and Carey have a perfect relationship. I’m just saying, we DON’T KNOW ANYTHING about their relationship–good OR bad. So, please don’t put so much stock in all this stuff. These people are in the business of cynicism and selling stories.

“Enough” is right, Shia and Carey have been about as low-key as a celebrity couple of their level can be. They’ve barely talked about each other in interviews. If you look at all the Cannes interviews, any time Shia was asked about Carey, he tried to keep his answers professional, talking about how talented she is, etc. He did not give lovey dovey, personal answers. The only times they posed together were during group shots of the cast.
And given the couple’s low-key nature, the famewhoring accusation is way off base. It’s time to let go of that last shred of hope some of you are grasping onto that their relationship is fake. We all know better.
Plus, if they haven’t really been together over these last ten months, who are you guys gonna blame for all of the changes in Shia that you’ve been attributing to Carey’s influence? Hmmmm.

Thank you for pointing this out to me, I want to clarify somethings, I don’t think that the post (that you said is from a “Ruby”) is considered online bullying against that poster (shy one delicate lady whoever) not yet at least it is definitely called cyberstalking and you should report this to the authorities right away, they will have a way to find the ip address and take it from there. This site honestly use to be fun, but ever since Shia started dating Carey this site has gone down the shitter, not because of Shia and Carey’s relationship, but because of pathetic jealous Shia fan girls. I use to like reading comments on this site, whether it be about something new or old about Shia, or just general conversations between users, but now all it is is cruel things being said about Carey. I’m not a fan of Carey’s, but it just makes me really sad to see her being made fun of for no reason at all. I’ve read some of her interviews and, to be completely honest, she does seem to be very nice and a well mannered girl, now if Carey wasn’t I would kinda understand some of the negative things being said about her, but 99.9% of everything bad said about her is jealousy crap. I’ve been a fan of Shia since I was 12 (I’m 13 now) and while I am very jealous that Shia has a girlfriend, I can honestly say that I’ve never been hateful towards Carey or any of his other girlfriends. It actually kinda amazes me that people on this site are probably years older than me, yet I act more mature than them. I’m not in anyway trying to tell people how to conduct themselves, but It would be nice if people could act more civil here. Nicole, I think that the problem is that fans, new or old, younger or older, are upset at the fact that fans do not see any new news or photographs of Shia anymore nearly as much. It is a major disappointment to these fans. People are speculating that Carey must be the cause because all of this has happened (the lack of photographs) when Shia started dating Carey.
Also on IMDB not many people like the idea of Carey with Shia, there are some who do, but not many.
I personally think that people are tired of seeing Shia with Carey and hearing news about it.
There is nothing much else to say about this topic cause it is the same old thing over and over again. What can I say.
I think a real civil conversation on here is when people are objective and does not leave others out and especially stop calling other poster’s on here names.

Thank you Hilary for calmly responding to my post, I was a bit worried to go back to this thread because I thought that the person who always writes in capital letters was going to insult or be rude to me. About what you said about the ruination of the people being rude towards Carey because of the lack of new Shia photos, I do think that is part of the reason for the rudeness towards her, but I don’t understand why posters on this site have to be so cruel. But, I do also think that the bitterness towards Carey from Shia fans is out of jealously, because even before Shia and Carey began to frequently be photographed together, there were posters on this site making mean comments towards her. About the post on his IMDb board, I honestly don’t think that Shia will lose any actual fans solely because of no new photos of him. If his so-called ‘fans’ stop liking him because they don’t get to see daily pictures of him, then I’m sure Shia would be better off without them. Also, in response to the second post on IMDb, I’m sure that Shia will do a photo shoot for a magazine in the next few months to promote the Wall Street sequel like he did with GQ (before the films release was post-poned) or the Parade magazine for Transformers 2.

when shia starts to promote wall street, the fans will come back and the so called “luster” of his “shining star” will return. and when tf2 moves its shoot from the playa vista stage to chicago, detroit, etc. for externals you will see/hear more as well. trust. just like the poster said “out of sight, out of mind.” that just means when he does come back in sight, people will be excited once again. perhaps maybe even appreciate him more. this is a pretty good way for all those souls suffering from “shia fatigue” to get over their irrational shia hate.
