i find it so hilarious how the guy found it necessary to qualify the fact that michael bay was “directing” in that one pic, as opposed to…? yelling and gesticulating nonsensically? haha

I think that Shia is one good looking guy, but if a guy that looked like him and acted like him asked me out I would say hell no, because I find it a major turn off when the guy is good looking & gets the ladies.
I once crushed on a guy who I thought was gorgeous and when I told others about my crush on him they were like, “oh…. he is…. very intelligent, sweet guy…” That made this guy, I crushed on, even sexier.
Plus a guy who is good looking and is single makes them even sexier (NO I don’t think that Shia would ever date an average jo like any poster’s on here so don’t start with the BS comments please).

As soon as I saw the title pic with Shia and Michael Douglas, I had a bad feeling about this film.. WHY is Shia in it? Couldn’t they have picked a slightly more mature actor who still is young, kind of the same age Charlie Sheen was in 1987? In other words, why did they pick Shia, who looks like he is 12? Just curious, is the Oliver Stone controversy going to quietly sneak by most of America and just get swept under the rug, or will it become the HUGE story that Mel Gibson’s comments have become? Will “Entertainment Tonight” do a story on Oliver Stone every night?
Oliver Stone was already known for admiring some of the world’s other recent or current communist/socialistic dictators, but now he takes the cake by coming out in defense of Adolf Hitler of all people. Better yet, Mr. Stone made the comments, at least to my knowledge, while he was perfectly sober. So far, as far as I know, every time Mel Gibson has gone nuts he was drunk at the time, which to reiterate, anyone with any common sense knows that drugs and alcohol can change people and make them violent.
I guess the difference here is really simple. Oliver Stone is a socialist left-winger in Hollywood, so he’s given a pass on such comments. But if you’re labeled as a conservative/Christian in Hollywood, everything you say can destroy your career. People like Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, Oliver Stone, Roman Polansky, etc. can pretty much do or say anything, whether they meant it or not, and get away with it, but someone like Mel Gibson can’t. It’s hypocrisy in its highest form.

Uh, does it matter what Shia thinks about Oliver Stone at this point? I’m sure Shia has already received a fat paycheck. Shia hasn’t responded to any of Stone’s comments as far as I know. It’s not really fair to pass judgment based on assumptions/hypothetical circumstances. If Shia has something to say, he’ll say it when he thinks the time is right. Give the kid a break
