Hey Gang…You can read a really good review by typing in Latino Review The Wettest County in the world. I guess a lot of people get go see the movies in advance & it is reviewed by a regular person. (like us)Anyway he gave it a super review & don’t forget if you go to IMDB under their comments, you can see the other reviews from moviegoers, who also saw it. All are good, but my favorite is this one.
From all these reviews, my conclusion is that Weinstein Co made a mistake by not releasing it in Dec 2011 in time for Oscars. Although Tom Hardy gets praise more than Shia..Shia is still surprising moviegoers because he is so good. That’s because they never saw him in AGTRYS…that’s the first thing I saw him playing. He stole the show from Robert Downey JR and that’s not easy to do.
I hope the fact that they changed the picture will get more fans to post. No news about the Giant picture. All I could find out about the plot was that Shia will be a man child giant, who has a neighbor girl that he falls in love with. She is soured on relationships & she is poor & unhappy about it.
As far as the Horns movie..no news on that one, so I think it’s a no go.
I hope Shia is getting some therapy & that’s why it’s so quite. I prayed real hard today that he will get the help he needs.
Also, if you go to IMDB Wettest County, you can read about Tom Hardy trying to raise money for the homeless in Cambridge England. He is even sending out the donors signed DVD’s & other things. He said that being homeless effects people for the rest of their lives. He also said he understands how hard it is for people to fight addictions. He is a really nice man with a deep feeling for other people. I admire him greatly too.
BTW I read that Mikey Bay is going to do another T4…no surprise. I hope Shia stays away from T4 & Mikey Bay. His career long term does depend on these new independent projects.
But he does what’s needed for those types of movies.
I afraid that the last seen location for Kpho is about the size of it. LOL

Maybe he is getting therapy. After these last 2 big incidents of the spitting & almost getting his head bashed in, that’s the only place he should be…therapy. May God keep us from another Heath Ledger disaster. I want to see our lad in many more films, get an Oscar & have a happy, full life.
I feel certain that RR talked to him & explained that this behavior is unacceptable to having a long term career. Films can’t bank on a star that deliberately goes out, gets drunk & starts fights. If the outcome in Canada landed Shia in the hospital (or worse), they may have had to bring in another star. That could have cost a lot of money & time. And don’t think that common sense doesn’t dictate that others may be afraid to book him because of those last 2 episodes. This is not rocket science. Companies exist to make money, so they can continue to exist to make even more money. He may draw people to films, but if he gets in a fight & has to spend months getting back together…that’s going to cost the film co too much money. They don’t care because they think they can replace him with anyone. And they will.
Now everyone can hate on me…but I am a very logical thinker. Money is the false God of our society. Yesterday I read Mikey Bay is comming back for the T4, but Shia won’t even be asked. They said in the article it will be all new players. Bay doens’t want to deal with Shia & I bet Bay treated Shia very badly. That’s probably why he was acting out in the first place.
God says that we are never to put money above people. That’s just one thing we are doing wrong.
Anyway I hope & pray that someone helps him. I don’t want him getting anymore hits in the head.
At the very least, he needs a body guard. There are too many nutcases out there who are what to brag about taking on the Transformer kid. Plus in a bar, if the nutcase is juiced up, that’s really scarey.
In my town, some girl & guy performed a home invasion. The girl actually brought her infant with her. Can you imagine what could have happened to her baby if the people that they invaded had a gun? Obviously she must have been on drugs to jeapordize her baby like that?
Life is getting very dangerous. This small town that I live in has become a nightmare. I’m surprised they haven’t renamed it the OK Corral.

I think he is getting some needed rest and therapy. If he was vacationing, someone would have seen him somewhere & reported it. I saw on one of these rag sheets that they pay someone for a pic of him (like that fight in Canada), enough for the person to retire. So if he was vacationing or getting married, somebody would have leaked something by now.
I don’t see it as a big deal & I don’t think anyone else will….people get therapy for lots of reasons & being famous (all your adult life) is very hard. Let alone he appears to have other issues. But I am praying for him still & I can’t wait to see his movies. I admire his work & look forward to seeing him grow into a peaceful person who enjoys the position that he’s earned.
Too bad all these morons in the bars attack him to try & make a name for themselves. If he is going to therapy, they will help him to deal with those who are 12 short of a dozen in the bars.
The therapy will also give him insight as an actor. He will not be diminished by this experience, but he will be blessed by it.
I only hope & pray I’m guessing correctly. But I will still see all his movies whether he goes to therapy or continues to try to get the other bar patrons to beat him up. I’ll just continue praying until God answers my prayers to help Shia. Eventually my prayers will get answered. I am even praying for those around him to know what to do for him. Can’t be easy for them either.

Hey gang, there is a rumor floating around that “Giant” starts filming in Feb. It’s on IMDB Shia board under the messages, but I can only see the headline. I get thrown off everytime I try to see the details. And I don’t want to stay on the boob tube tonight, cause I am reading “The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo” plus I’m listening to Brian Culbertson & his smooth jazz. (if you like smooth jazz, he is the best)…and the book is great.

I agree with everyone on Shia’s whereabouts have been lately.
Personally, I don’t think Emily is speculating that Shia is in therapy. There is no need to come down on her for saying that
I agree that Shia would benefit from therapy for his alcohol addiction because I remember reading an article that his grandfather died from alcohol poisoning.He also read somehwere that he doesn’t drink for the taste of it but merely to take the pain he suffers:(

It’s OK that you don’t agree with me. I’m 65 yrs old & probably one of Shia’s oldest fans. I hope that I am right & I hope what Matt heard is right. I don’t want to ever see Shia get hurt by someone hitting him again.
Therapy is great for people. It will enhance his personal & professional life. Shia is intelligent, he’s a quick study & we all appreciate his quick wit. Plus we know that he has a support system going in…his Mom, his Dad, the pretty blonde girl (who is probably a cousin or some type of relative), Kpho (who may not know what to do under the circumstances, nor do most people, but I just don’t think she will take off on him), Kid Cudi & Cage. His Dad & Cudi (I may be wrong on this, but I think both had some rehab) and they will be a big support for him. Don’t forget he has all of us, his fans & we aren’t going to stop looking forward to his movies.
He is loved & adored by lots of us because he makes us happy when we see him act. Collectively we are all rooting for him to get that Oscar and to enjoy his life to the fullest.
It is my hope that he gets the therapy, stops fighting & bar hopping, starts to appreciate being the star that he has become & receives the accolades from his peers in the movie industry. (like an Oscar, Golden Globe, etc)
We are all imperfect people & sometimes we need help. No disgrace in that. I suffered a lot from depression when I was young, but I had therapy. It works. I didn’t have my family behind me, but my friends & boyfriend stuck by me. To this day, I still use what I learned back in my 20′s.
