You guys. What a shitty day. We’ve just gotten word that Wall Street 2 has been pushed back from its April 23rd release date to….get this..September 24.
According to the Hollywood Reporter,
Fox is bumping Oliver Stone’s Wall Street sequel to the fall.“Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” will be released on Sept. 24 instead of April 23 as previously planned. Michael Douglas reprises his role from the franchise original, with Shia LaBeouf co-starring in the sequel.
No reasons were given, but we’re guessing the extra months are needed so they can cut out ALL scenes involving Carey. They do want to make money off of this, right??

Shia LaBeouf does understand that a pack a day doesn’t contribute to the pulmonary stamina required to run 26.2 miles, right?
Either way, we wish the Transformers star luck with his decision to participate in the famed L.A. Marathon on March 21 on behalf of the nonprofit U.S.VETS, which provides services to veterans of all ages, including troops returning from recent tours of Iraq and Afghanistan.
LaBeouf’s dad, Jeffrey, fought in Vietnam and his paternal grandfather was a Green Beret.
“We are delighted and grateful to have Mr. LaBeouf participate in the marathon on our behalf,” said U.S.VETS president and CEO Dwight Radcliff.

In the next few months, Shia LaBeouf will reprise his role as Sam Witwicky in “Transformers 3“. According to Mike Fleming from Deadline Hollywood, which reported that the actor moves to CAA Agency, the upcoming movie will kick off principal photography in May this year. Additionally, Screen Crave mentioned that Paramount Pictures is considering to shoot the film in 3-D.
Beside LaBeouf, Megan Fox has signed on for the film. She will be seen portraying Mikaela Banes, the mutual love interest of Sam, for the third time. The actress has previously got promise from director Michael Bay that she will get a “great part” in the next installment of “Transformers” film franchise.
The man behind the first movie and its sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen“, who will return to the same position for “Transformers 3″, has also confirmed that the release date for the forthcoming film has been moved up a year from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2011. Bay will also serve as producer alongside Steven Spielberg.
