“The Wettest County” is now called ‘Lawless’ btw… not that anyone actually cares about the title we just want to see this ASAP and will be waiting very impatiently until 8/31 to do so. Unless Shia wants to fly the three of us out to Venice for the film festival.. which I mean we are TOTES down for.

So TMZ found the guy who “helped” Shia after his fight with the hairy shirtless man and his name is Shea Carter. No, really.

The man who tried to calm down Shia LaBeouf moments after the beatdown in Vancouver last week tells TMZ … the actor threatened to pull a knife on him in the wake of the fight … but he never actually flashed a blade.

TMZ spoke with Shea Carter … the man who restrained Shia after the fight … who tells us he noticed the actor inside the Cinema Public House bar BEFORE the melee. Carter says LaBeouf had been drunkenly swaying into several patrons … including one man who calmly warned Shia, “Hey man, watch out.”

Carter says Shia replied, “Oh yea? Or what? What are you going to do about it?”  That’s when the two decided to take things outside … and the guy beat Shia down to the ground.

Afterward, Carter — a local hip hop artist and  bar regular — tried to stop Shia from getting back inside, but LaBeouf got aggressive, spouting, “Well what if I grabbed my knife on you?”

Carter says he quickly grabbed Shia in an effort to protect himself in case the knife threat was serious.

Carter says the actor eventually walked away … so he went back inside the bar. But moments later, Carter says, Shia appeared outside a window and made a throat-slashing gesture at him … before leaving for the night.

Sounds like Shea is a little dramatic… oh and according to his  Twitter he just dropped an “EP” – convenient timing, no??? Let’s hope this is just some random Vancouver local trying to make a buck and not reality.

Megan Fox has finally reacted to Shia’s announcement to the world that he totally hit that.

With the recent Shia Labeouf interview and the ‘Transformers’ situation, why didn’t you clarify or defend yourself?

I didn’t want to talk about it while they’re on the press tour because I didn’t want to try to throw mud at them. I didn’t want that movie to suffer. Especially because I love Shia. I wanted that movie to do well for him. I didn’t want to have this big media war over something that really was so silly and it would have just been my ego needing to engage in a war, at that point. Of course, there will be a time when I want to tell my side of the story. I just don’t feel it was appropriate while they were promoting the movie.

According to Life  & Style magazine:

Onlookers at an LA party were concerned for Shia LaBeouf last night after the actor exhibited some very strange behavior.

The Transformers star had what one witness tells Life & Style seemed to be “a public meltdown,” spitting water over his date and rocker Marilyn Manson before charging through the crowd to the exit.

At the Aug. 26 opening of the LA outpost of The Box nightclub sponsored by Belvedere, the witness tells Life & Style, “Shia picked up a water bottle and shot a mouthful of water all over his seated date’s legs.

“Then he put more water in his mouth and started spitting it all over his tablemates, including Marilyn Manson. He seemed wasted.”

But according to the witness, neither his date, his friends nor Marilyn could calm Shia down — even after Marilyn offered a fist bump, as if to say everything was fine.

“People started taking their seats in front of the stage at the event, but all of a sudden Shia started shouting at his date and getting visibly angry,” the eyewitness tells Life & Style. Then he headed for the door. “He lunged through the very thick seated crowd, and the crowd pleaded with him and encouraged him to sit down. They tried to hold him back — but he kept struggling through.”

And the audience at the event got more than just the show it came to see. “Shia had to climb over people and tear himself out of the grasp of various strangers who were trying to keep him from going crazy,” the eyewitness says. “His date panicked and ran out after him. Marilyn looked shocked and annoyed but stayed seated. Shia and the girl did not return.”

“It was so insane — he just had a total meltdown right in front of everyone,” the eyewitness tells Life & Style. “It was completely out of control. He was so angry and physical. He was determined to get out of there.”

Woop dee doo, Shia has landed a new role in upcoming movie The Company You Keep alongside Robert Redford.

Shia LaBeouf and Robert Redford will headline the political action thriller The Company You Keep, Voltage Pictures and Wildwood Enterprises announced Tuesday.

Redford will also direct from a script by Lem Dobbs (The Limey), based on the novel by Neil Gordon. Redford will play a former Weather Underground militant, wanted by the FBI, whose identity is exposed by a young reporter, played by LaBeouf.

Filming starts in September… we can’t wait for pics from the set!

Remember when Shia said he “dropped the ball” while filming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Well Harrison Ford has something to say about that.

“I think I told him he was a [expletive] idiot,” Harrison told Details Magazine. “As an actor, I think it’s my obligation to support the film without making a complete ass of myself.

“Shia is ambitious, attentive and talented — and he’s learning how to deal with a situation which is very unique and difficult.”

Shia slipped out of his cardigan and into his fancy-shiamancy grey suit… DO YOU LOVE??

It’s a sad day for Trannies everywhere today, as Shia has announced he will be quitting the Transformers franchise after Dark of the Moon.

”I’m not coming back to do another one. I don’t think [director Michael Bay] will either. It still is a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they’ll reboot it at some point with someone else.”
